Super Samurai 18 - "Evil Reborn"

The original opening sequence has been replaced with the cut version that starts by trimming off the first 4 seconds removing seven shots, four of which were the rangers pointing their spin swords at the camera.

We also don't get these two shots of Lauren unmorphed and as the super red ranger.

Plus we still only get one shot of Master Xandred's ship rising out of the Sanzu river instead of two and the shot zooming into Serrator which is no longer included in the US opening.

UK Version: Darkened to reduce flashing light effects.

The full 3 minute 25 second Jayden vs Deker night fire fight was darkened to reduce the flashing light effects of the flames. The only problem was during many of the shots you couldn't see what was going on.

This shot of Mia, Emily and Mike behind the barrier of fire was removed, maybe Nickelodeon thought it was too scary or distressful for younger children.

A second shot of Mia, Emily and Mike behind the barrier of fire was also removed. They also had to remove the following shot of Jayden walking away as it was the same angle as the one before the removed shot, leaving it in would have caused a 'skip' in the video.

A third shot of Mia, Emily and Mike behind the barrier of fire shouting "Jayden" was also removed. The beginning of the next shot which showed Deker running with his sword was replaced with a previous shot from a few seconds ago of Jayden walking away so it wouldn't look like Deker had magically changed position from standing still to running in one shot.

The fourth shot of Mia, Emily and Mike behind the barrier of fire shouting "Jayden" and Mike's "Look Out!" was removed, this time removing the shot does make Deker magically change from standing still to running in one shot.

When Deker is defeated and fades away this shot of Jayden looking on from behind the barrier of fire was removed, again maybe Nickelodeon thought it was too scary or distressful for younger children.
