As the rangers defeat the Moogers four shots were darkened to reduce the flashing light effects. They showed a close up of the red ranger's spin sword going on fire, the rangers firing the quintuple slash, a group of Moogers getting hit by the quintuple slash then exploding and some other Moogers retreating through gaps.

As two Spitfangs fire on the city and people are running away, This six shot sequence was darkened to reduce the flashing light effects. These showed the city being hit by a fireball, people running away [3 shots] and two Spitfangs firing fireballs at the city [2 shots].

No pointing at the camera allowed. The five ranger split-screen morph sequence was played in slow motion to remove the last shot which showed the ranger's pointing their spin swords at the camera. This is easy to spot as the slow motion effect causes the video to jitter during the full sequence. This has also been darkened to reduce flashing light effects.

These two shots showing the ranger's attack on the Spitfangs being interrupted by everyone getting hit by lightning causing an explosion and the rangers landing on the ground were darkened to reduce the flashing light effects.

The 1 minute 40 second Rangers vs Serrator fight scene was darkened to reduce the flashing light effects. The scene showed the rangers getting beaten up by Serrator, the beginning of the quintuple slash (as it was cut, see next box below) followed by Serrator blocking red ranger's fire smasher cannon blast then throwing it back catching him in the explosion. Most likely to save time Nickelodeon just added the darkened effect to the full sequence instead of the individual flashing light shots thus showing other shots darkened that didn't need to be.

The rangers are hit by the lightning..Red ranger jumps through the fire.

7 seconds was removed from the above Serrator fight scene, this included the ranger's quintuple slash being fired, Serrator blocking it followed by him firing lightning (towards the camera) at the rangers which hits them causing an explosion, then the red ranger jumps through the fire with his fire smasher as he shouts "Fire Smasher".

Ranger's hit by giant Papyrux's attack. Darkened.Giant Papyrux hits the Megazord from behind. Darkened.

The full 5 and a half minute end battle was darkened to reduce the flashing light effects. The sequence showed the ranger's being hit by giant Papyrux's attack, Battlewing Megazord vs giant Papyrux, four rangers vs Serrator, Antonio trying to activate the LightZord, Gold ranger blocking Serrator's attack, Gold ranger activating the LightZord and the Light Megazord vs Giant Papyrux. Lots of shots here that didn't require the darkened effect.
