Samurai Special 2 - "Clash of the Red Rangers"

During the opening Megazord battle with Professor Cog, Most of a 1 second close up shot of Professor Cog's machine gun firing was trimmed leaving only one frame of footage. If you were quick enough to see it, it only shows the gun, but not it firing.

This shot of the RPM Ranger Red getting shot by a group of Grinders on the bridge was trimmed at the end to removed sight and sound of Ranger Red being caught in an explosion (Pic 2).

A shot of four Grinders firing towards the camera while they were attacking Ranger Red at the docks was removed.

Still at the docks a shot of Professor Cog firing hypno- bolts at Ranger Red was trimmed so you don't see him being hit by the bolts. The following side shot of him getting hit by the bolts and the next shot of him being hit into the air have been darkened to reduce the lightning effects. This is the first time I have mentioned the darkened effect which has also been used on some of the previous episodes.

As the other Samurai rangers block the vortex from hitting both red rangers a darkened effect was added to reduce the lightning effects on this 9 second sequence. Pic 1: US Version, Pics 2-4: UK Version.

Still with the other Samurai rangers blocking the vortex from hitting both red rangers a 3 second section was removed, this included flashing light effects on three shots of different rangers which all featured dialogue: Pink Ranger: "It's up to you..", Green Ranger: "..to school the Professor" and Gold Ranger "Now go".

A shot of the RPM Ranger Red firing three laser blasts at the Samurai Red Ranger was trimmed to only show two (and a bit) shots being fired, it was so quick most people wouldn't notice it.

While standing on the back of the red car driven by Ranger Red, A close up shot of the Samurai Red Ranger deflecting laser shots with his spin sword was darkened to reduce the flashing light effects.

As each ranger strikes General Gut with their spin swords all five of these shots and the following one of General Gut being hit have been darkened to reduce the flashing light effects. 4 seconds.

The shot of General Gut getting destroyed above was also trimmed at the start which removes sight of him being hit by the ranger's swords and the flashing light effects.
